Strategic research / Social / Political / Markets
“Attention is the rarest and purest form of generosity.” — Simone Weil
Reality rarely speaks with a single voice. Between institutions and citizens, between organizations and people, between decisions and their consequences, there are distances that cannot be resolved with information alone.
To research is to understand those distances.
At La Casa de Investigación we study how people perceive, interpret, feel, remember and act. We listen before concluding. We contrast before asserting. We seek to understand rather than to confirm our own hypotheses.
We believe every important decision deserves a rigorous understanding of the human reality it intends to transform.
We do not produce data to fill reports. We produce knowledge to reduce uncertainty, broaden understanding and improve the quality of decisions.
Understanding is the precondition for acting intelligently.
Our approach
Every organization builds, over time, a representation of reality. That representation guides its decisions, but it can also end up distancing it from people's concrete experience.
Research begins there.
To research is to suspend one's own certainties in order to understand the world again from the standpoint of those who live it. It is to reconstruct how citizens, clients, consumers, users or audiences perceive, interpret and make sense of what they interact with.
We do not merely look for opinions. We seek to understand the psychological, cultural, social and systemic processes that make them possible.
That is why we do not simply deliver data. We restore a deeper understanding of reality, capable of reducing uncertainty, challenging assumptions and raising the quality of decisions.
To achieve this we have developed proprietary methodologies that integrate psychology, sociology, anthropology and systems thinking into a single analytical framework.
Because every good decision begins with a better understanding of reality.
Experience
Our experience includes, among others:
Each study broadens our knowledge of a particular phenomenon; all of them together deepen our understanding of the human condition.
Interdisciplinary approach
No single discipline is enough to understand human complexity. That is why we articulate perspectives from multiple fields into a single analytical framework.
The teams
We do not believe in rigid structures or permanent teams for every challenge. Each project demands a specific combination of disciplinary experience, sector knowledge and international track record. That is why we assemble tailor-made teams, integrating complementary profiles according to the nature of the research.
Psychologists, sociologists, anthropologists and communication specialists with more than fifteen years leading complex research in multiple countries and supporting highly demanding political, institutional and corporate processes.
Researchers with doctoral training in the social sciences, academic careers spanning three continents, and decades of research practice applied to high-level strategic decisions.
Moderators, ethnographers and social researchers with advanced training in anthropology, psychology, sociology and communication, and years of craft spent listening to people in profoundly diverse cultural contexts.
Professionals from mathematics, physics, philosophy, the social sciences, law, communication and strategic management, brought in according to the specific needs of each project.
The quality of a study depends as much on its methodology as on the people who make it possible.
